3c. Aldina Pictographs – Iva Lafond

Iva Lafond is originally Secwepemc from Simpcw First Nation in BC, and is now a proud member of the Muskeg Lake Cree Nation.  She was raised in the Rocky Mountains riding horses, hiking, swimming and exploring the outdoors. She has always felt a powerful connection to the earth and the spirit world. She has a deep respect for traditional teachings and cultural practices.  Iva enjoys working in the various art forms, painting with water colour, acrylics, sketching, beading, leather work and with fabrics. Through her love of art and music she finds balance, peace and contentment.

Located at Our Lady of Guadalupe Church on Muskeg Lake; 10 km west of Marcelin on Grid 783; turn north toward Muskeg Lake Cree Nation for 8 km; then turn west (Church to your left).
