I’ve been carving wood about 40 some odd years. I’ve used a variety of different types of wood, but like using local wood such as birch & poplar but will try any other type.  I prefer carving wildlife and western lifestyle themes.  I have been commissioned for retirement, birthday and special gifts.  One special commission was a wedding cake top. Some of my carving are scattered in Canada, and some in Europe and one in Australia.  Over the years, I have been an active member of Prairie Sculptors of Saskatchewan and the Kyla Art Group of Prince Albert.  I’ve decided to join 12-40 so I can work with other local artists.
